The game rates singing and gives points accordingly on three difficulty levels. There are over 30 songs to choose from and a variety of game modes. According to Sony's most recent release schedule, SingStar '80s is due out on PS2 this November. SingStar is a singing game where player(s) grab a microphone and sing. Sony's confirmed the song list for its latest karaoke sing-along title SingStar '80s, and there are around ten additions over and above what we were told when the game was first announced. SingStar reached its zenith during its time on the PS2, as the best-selling home console coupled with the karaoke classic ushered in an era of casual party gaming. SingStar track compatibility across PS2 & PS3 is enabled via the Disc Swap feature.
